Odd Socks was the second external project I took part in during my time at Escape. Under the supervision of Klaudija Cermak, I took responsibility for two different shots for the film.

The main tasks for the short was clean up, removing any unwanted markers or actors from the shots. Removing the puppeteers in my shots was the most difficult, with them being in front of the actors I had to rebuild with secondary plates that had been filmed. I had to work around movements and placements not quite matching with tools such as spline warp or corner pin.

I was able to complete both shots in good time for the deadline, with feedback from our director to make sure the shots fit his vision and reached the highest standards.

This project taught me more about time management, having to work around my normal Uni schedule also working on projects for that at the same time, as well as advanced my clean up skills with more practise. It was also my first project working directly under a supervisor who was able to give me consistent updates on which area's needed improvement
